3D デスクトップ Beryl AIGLX ATI Radeon

ノートパソコンに3DデスクトップBerylをいれてみたメモ
まずはlspciのメモ
 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc Radeon R250 [Mobility FireGL 9000] (rev 01)
 利用したグラフィックカードはそうらしい
インストールは Beryl wikiのDebianにしたがってインストール
apt-get install libxcomposite1
 ここで/etc/apt/sources.listを編集する
 wget -O - http://debian.beryl-project.org/[e-mail] | sudo apt-key add - apt-get update
apt-get install beryl beryl-core beryl-dev beryl-manager beryl-plugins beryl-plugins-data beryl-settings emerald emerald-themes
これでOK 後は/etc/X11/xorg.confを
編集する それぞれのセクションに#Berylの部分を追記

Xをリスタート beryl-managerを起動させる
以上で3Dデスクトップを利用できるようになりました。
まったく同じ方法で デスクトップマシンのASUS Extreme AX600も動作しました
ちなみにドライバはXのatiを利用していますので、
fglrxなどについてはまったくわかりません。
